Rule 104
Submission of Property Statement

(1) Within sixty days from the date of enlistment, and thereafter within sixty days from the end of each financial year, an updated statement of all types of movable and immovable property in the name of himself or his family must be submitted to the executive department. The military officer has to submit two copies while submitting such details.
(2) If a military person who is unable to submit the details of assets within the time limit as per sub-rule (1) requests for an extension of time stating the reasons for not being able to submit such details, the relevant agency or officer may extend the time limit up to a maximum of thirty days.
(3) A military person who does not submit the details of assets even within the period added according to sub-rule (2) may be fined five thousand rupees and the relevant agency or officer may investigate the illegal assets in the name of him and his family.
(4) The details of assets submitted in accordance with this rule shall be kept confidential. However, in the course of investigation and investigation, if property details are requested, such details can be provided to the concerned authorities.
(5) Records of property details will be kept by the executive department.
(6) Details of military personnel who do not submit property details in accordance with this section shall be sent to the ministry within thirty days by the executive department and the details received by the ministry shall be sent to the committee under section 62 of the Act.
